Salts Healthcare Ltd

One of Birmingham's oldest businesses - Salt Health Care of Nechells - is preparing to move to a new home to keep pace with its growing turnover. The 300-year-old company is taking premises in Richard Street, at Ringway Business Park, a short distance from its main operation in Lord Street, one of five different locations. Philip Salt, chief executive who runs the business with his two brothers received the Birmingham Post monthly Business Award for June yesterday.

Lord Stafford Award Winners 2004

Representatives from nominated companies, both large and small, together with their university partners, came together at RAF Cosford for the presentation of the Lord Stafford Awards 2004. IOD Young Director of the Year

The first ever IOD Young Director of the Year received the accolade together with a magnificent trophy at a ceremony at the Holte Suite, Villa Park. British Airways sponsored the magnificent trophies, which were presented to four category winners and to the overall Young Director of the Year. The event was organised by the IOD Young Directors Forum in the West Midlands, lead by Mohammed Hasan, and looks set to be the first of many such annual awards. www.iod.com
