Gigbeth

The Gigbeth weekend saw a variety of artists performing diverse ranges of music in selected venues all over the city. Spread over 3 days, the event opened with a conference where delegates participated in discussions covering important music industry issues.

The magnificent Town Hall Birmingham was the setting for the Excellence in Tourism Awards and provided an appropriately splendid stage for the regions tourism star- see who they are.

The PLUS Design Festival grows in strength in its second year in the city. Designers from the region, the capitol and beyond came together to exchange ideas and show off their talent in Birmingham.

Lifelong Learning

July saw the presentation of the Creative City Awards. The regions most creative and innovative people, media luvvies and candidate businesses were there. See the category winners and find out who won the prestigious 2007 Creative Industries Award.
